Course Description

Students must be enrolled in Creative Composition 1 to enroll in this highly recommended, but optional, add-on.

The Language Arts Lab is a weekly “virtual hangout” where Creative Composition 1 students receive individualized assistance from their instructor and collaboration time with peers. During this weekly, 50-minute session, Mrs. Roy meets with students to go through homework assignments, engage in personalized writing conferences, and tackle vocabulary and grammar skills. Together, we will work through the workbook assignments and improve your understanding and ability to write with excellence.

Writing is an 8 step process of planning, drafting, revising, reviewing, revising, reviewing, revising, editing, polishing and publishing, and finally evaluating your work. This Language Arts Lab will considerably help students succeed through each step of this process. We have created this lab to give parents an additional option to ensure your students’ success.

The Language Arts Lab CC1  is an optional, though highly recommended add-on to the Creative Composition 1: Beginning Writing course.
