It’s so much more than an SAT prep course. Making math fun, inspiring students to keep getting better is a benefit of this course. My daughter has really enjoyed the class, and she is so much more confident in her skills. She took the class once before, but she is doing harder problems this time because the class is personalized. She is also much less stressed about the next exam. Huge thanks.

The course schedule did a great job of exposing the students to the math concepts tested on the SAT and offered multiple ways to test and build on understanding. Mrs. Gomes is so patient, and she clearly explains concepts. My son struggles with math, but she was understanding and encouraging which gave him confidence in his ability to learn.

Mrs. Gomes was extremely engaging and interesting! She made the math fun and intriguing. I never dreaded going to class each week! Mrs. Gomes was a wonderful teacher! She related to the students and were interested in them, not just teaching them. The class was wonderful for reviewing all the math I’ve learned over high school.

I’m not the biggest math fan to begin with, but it helped how passionate Mrs. Gomes was with the material she was teaching. I appreciated how Mrs. Gomes was very thoughtful and considerate of all of her students, and making sure everyone wasn’t embarrassed or thought of differently because they were unsure of how to solve a problem, or getting something wrong. Thank you so much for the opportunity! I appreciate the time you took for the class, and how nice you were to everyone. It definitely made me less nervous about being in the class, and making mistakes.

Thank you so much [Mrs. Gomes] for ALL your help. I seriously needed it. I didn’t even know how much I didn’t know! This course will most definitely help me in the long run, not only with the SATs. I absolutely LOVED your class and kind of wish I had a full math class with you. You make class fun and interactive, while still teaching us. I also think that your personality helps other kids to open up and not be afraid of mistakes they make or things they don’t know. You really make it a comfortable atmosphere for everyone to learn what they need to (And more!).

In my first practice SAT my math scores were abysmal; after this class they aren’t perfect by any means, but noticeably much better. Mrs. Gomes explains concepts and methods succinctly and well. The individualization of each student’s assignments is also a great way to ensure that everyone focuses on the areas where they need the most help.
This course was excellent, the self-paced schedule aided me in studying for the SAT along with learning some new concepts. The problems given were tailored to my needs and challenged me. I highly recommend this course for anyone thinking of taking the SAT!

This class is perfect for people who not only want to get a better score on the SAT, but for anyone who wants to further their math knowledge in general. Mrs. Gomes is a great teacher and explains concepts in a very direct and comprehensive way. She is always willing to spend time helping individuals as well. I am normally not a fan of online learning but this was definitely worth it.

This was an extremely helpful class. I highly recommend this class to anyone who has struggled with prepping for the math section of the SAT. The class format is straight-forward and clear. Mrs. Gomes was an engaging and friendly teacher, and I enjoyed working with her. The personalized SAT study plan is great for anyone who needs a clear schedule and a clear path of progression, like me.
The videos that Mrs. Gomes provides to explain individual topics were the most helpful part of the class. I had gone on Khan Academy before and struggled to practice the topics, but these videos cleared up most of my problems.

This was a great class and it really helped me up my math game for the SAT. One of the best features of the class is how Mrs. Gomes creates a custom study plan for each student, taking into account each student’s desired score, available time per week, and the parts of math that are the most challenging for them. Mrs. Gomes also made the class fun with her cheerful and lively explanations of practice problems. After taking this class, I feel a lot more confident about what I’ll be able to achieve when I go to take the SAT!

Very thorough prep for the SAT, put together a personalized study plan, encouraged students throughout the course, provided immediate and thorough responses to questions, explained material my daughter struggled with in a way in which she could understand.

For a little bit of background, I’m a junior in high school. Before I took Mrs. Gomes’ class, I had taken the PSAT once and the SAT twice, and had tried a multitude of different programs to help study for the exams. However, out of all the the study methods I tried, Mrs. Gomes has probably helped me the most. She gives her students a tailored SAT prep schedule which includes Kahn academy work, practice tests, and detailed instruction videos. I found Mrs. Gomes’ teaching to be incredibly easy to follow (and her teaching style helps to make the class engaging and fun.) Her outside class videos are also very helpful, and she teaches on dozens of problems of varying difficulty and material, just like those on the SAT test. I would highly recommend that students take this class. You will all be glad that you did!

This class is phenomenal! Going into it, I hadn’t touched Algebra in quite some time, but Mrs. Gomes’ teaching methods really brought everything back. Her classes are fun and engaging, as well as full of awesome information and tips. She explains concepts in an easy-to-understand fashion, and I couldn’t be happier with the class.
Subjects like graphing and quadratics are something I have always struggled with, but Mrs. Gomes really made it click for me, and I’m much better in solving these types of problems.
10/10 class and I would definitely recommend this course to any highschooler who is looking to bump up their score in SAT math!

I felt the course was well paced, well thought out and the instructor was extremely knowledgeable. My son needed the additional challenge and was pleasantly surprised to “already know” some new things they were covering in Geometry (co-op class) thanks to this class. Honestly, I feel like Ms. Gomes was an organized, highly competent teacher that communicated well and helped my son exactly where he needed help. We would definitely look for classes with Ms. Gomes in the future.
This was a really good class for me. It was incredibly helpful because Mrs. Gomes created a personalized schedule for each one of us. I took the SAT last year and wasn’t sure what or how to study but taking this class I’ve been able to fill my algebra gaps and learn how to study effectively. It was a great class! I would definitely recommend.

This course was FANTASTIC!!!!!! I learned more in this course than any course I have taken before for SAT or ACT prep. My score went up because of Mrs. Gomes. After her class, I took an SAT practice test and my math score went from 540 to 630! Almost 100 points. This was a larger jump than I had EVER hoped for! She is a great teacher, made the class fun, and took time to help me. I am so so so glad that I did this course! I would definitely give it a full five stars and recommend this to everyone. I took Mrs. Gomes SAT Math Prep course to better my understanding of the test and to get a higher score. The class was well structured. Everything was well put and easy to understand. I truly feel like I learned a lot and I’m looking forward to seeing progress in my next SAT score. I highly recommend this test.
Ms Gomes was always available to answer any SAT math question I had, whether it was from a problem given in class or another that I did for extra prep. She explained concepts well and was really encouraging throughout.

This class made me feel confident and prepared to take the SAT. Mrs. Gomes did a fantastic job adjusting our work according to the areas where we each needed the most help. Not only did she teach us critical math concepts, but also test taking skills that prepared us to take both the SAT and the ACT.
I am pleased to say that I scored 710 in SAT math, and I know that I wouldn’t have earned the same score without Mrs. Gomes’s class.
This was a really good course for me. After taking my SAT last spring, I didn’t know how to study or what to study. I wasn’t sure of my strengths or weaknesses. This self-paced class was the best option for me. Mrs. Gomes gave me a schedule specifically for my needs. I really recommend this for anyone who wants to improve their SAT math score and is feeling unprepared. The results are what you put into it. If you don’t put any effort, then you will not succeed. You will find that the more you study, the better you get and the more you understand the math that will be on the SAT.
I really enjoyed the SAT Math Prep course! The class was super helpful in strengthening any weak areas I had, and I definitely feel better prepared for the SAT after this taking this class. The amount of work is perfect, and it wasn’t hard for me to catch up when I fell behind. Also Mrs. Gomes is a great teacher, very nice, upbeat, and helpful! Overall I think this is a great class for anyone who is going to take the SAT.
The SAT Math class is great! Mrs. Gomes is friendly, encouraging, and also makes an effort to know the students. She gives us a personalized study plan that helps pinpoint what areas of math we are weak on. She also gives shortcuts and other strategies in her video assignments and the lectures that make questions simpler and quicker to solve. The assignments are not overwhelming, and if you fall behind a day or two you can easily catch back up. The class is great preparation for the SAT Math test and also good for review.
Never before have I been able to confidently look at an SAT math question and absolutely know how to approach it. I’ve struggled with math before, but this class showed me that it is no big deal. Mrs. Gomes is a fun and welcoming teacher. I felt very comfortable coming to her with my questions during class. I think it is amazing that we get our own study plans, and the work load seemed to be balanced well throughout the week. Her videos are short, sweet, and to the point! Which is everything you’re looking for in an SAT math review. They were very clear and helpful.
After taking this class, I grew from someone who’s heart would skip a beat at the sight of a math problem on a test to someone who has now gained confidence in knowing how to tackle those very problems. What is distinctive about this class is the personal study plan Mrs. Gomes creates for each student. Homework was geared for us individually based on the topics we struggled with on a practice exam. At the beginning of each week, we attended a live webinar class where problems we had trouble with during the week were gone over. Class was very engaging. Mrs. Gomes drew everybody in and made us feel comfortable asking questions in class. Throughout the week, we watched videos she had made on particular concepts and worked through Khan Academy’s SAT practice questions. I appreciated how Mrs. Gomes went above and beyond in answering the questions I emailed her. All in all, I found this class to be not only good preparation for the SAT, but a solid, timely review of the math skills needed for life.

I decided to take Mrs. Gomes’ SAT Math Prep course this past summer in order to get a kick-start on my SAT studying and learn what areas in math I was weakest on. Mrs. Gomes course far exceeded my expectations and made it much easier to dive into the overwhelming task of studying for the SATs. What was most beneficial about the course was the way Mrs. Gomes laid it out and the videos she created. Mrs. Gomes maps out a customized weekly & daily plan for every student, based on their SAT goals and how they did on the SAT practice test at the beginning of the course. It was very simple, organized, and easy to follow, which is something that many online courses have yet to master. Every week tackled a new math subject and most days included a couple of videos explaining different concepts as well as practice problems. Every week ended with a quiz going over what you had learned. Mrs. Gomes videos are excellent, and I actually found them better than the famous Kahn Academy videos because her explanations were very clear and effective.
I felt like there was just the right amount of work, and it was easy for me to double up some days or catch up if I had been busy and fallen behind in assignments. If you are trying to really master the subjects, I would suggest also doing your own studying and practice problems on subjects that you are having a difficult time with.
Mrs. Gomes was always available to provide one-on-one help when I had questions or was struggling with a topic and she is one of the best math problem explainers there is! The live classes are also very helpful if you’re able to attend those, for Mrs. Gomes goes over all of the trickiest questions from the weekly quizzes. I highly recommend this course in order to start your SAT studying journey in the best possible way!
I loved the SAT MATH PREP class. Mrs. Kathryn is a great teacher and is also supper nice. Taking this class really helped me get ready for doing the SAT!
SAT Math Prep with Mrs. Gomes was very helpful! Having taken SAT classes before, I was slightly apprehensive going into it. I love math and am in advanced classes, but my main problem was remembering the basic algebra problems (which was very frustrating for me) and Mrs. Gomes was very helpful and encouraging throughout the class and live sessions. Making me review the concepts and do the problems ultimately helped me improve my score by 90 points. This is a great class and is very helpful for all levels of math! (:
